Location: Luna City 1
Luna 1 has been interesting. I was given a few days of training. More like an orientation. I’ll be shipping out to Europa on the next Archive shuttle. But back to Luna 1, the city houses 15,380 people at any one time. Enough bots to keep the city running without much need for people to intervene. I did see a Shelled Human selling real soil grown flowers from his own private garden. Way to expensive for me though at 0.000018 of a credit for a single flower. He was kind enough to let me stop and take a smell. Honestly can’t remember what flowers smelled like. It’s been quite a while I’ve been living in the Shield Bunker.
The city was beautiful though, it was built during the pinnacle of Union Exo Architecture. Before at least so many resources were pumped into finishing the project. A project I’m not allowed to disclose yet, even in my own memory backups. All that has to stay in my gray matter.
I dined at a restaurant that had fresh Luna salmon. It was the best I’ve had in a while. The hydroponic vegetables and the Luna churned butter was amazing.
Enough about that. I did meet someone really damned important today. You’ll never guess who it was.
Overseer Mitch Bade, the leader of the Order, also saw his son August. Both of them were in Human Shells today and were overseeing the transport of some Omega class confidential equipment for the project. Seeing the Overseer is really rare. He almost never appears in public himself. I guess this is too important.
August is to say the least almost the polar opposite of his father. Kinda flirty too. A little too flirty for my liking. Super brilliant though. Apparently he came up with a bunch of the upgrades for the Dark Matter Drives.
Though note to self: August is 100% trying to get into your pants.
Some upgrades were being made on my armor today as well. Had to get refitted for something the techsmith called an “anti-temporal psychosis helmet.” What ever that means. According to my orientation it’ll black out my vision at given times. Not sure why they want to do that but whatever. La Volo de Patriarko I guess.
Alright it’s super late for me. I’m still feeling a bit of sync with time since I’m still on west coast time where it’s 1AM and on Luna it’s only 6:30PM. I guess it won’t matter much. Ship time is west coast time so when I get shipped out I’ll be back in sync.
